At this month’s little knitting hootenanny we’d like you to bring your Bad Records, Strange Vinyl. Dig out your favourite charity shop find, junk shop rarity or bizzare car boot gem. Fiona Cullinan and her chums will then play it while you stitch. Please select your favourite track from your vinyl and check it for scratches…wool and needles provided – you don’t even have to be good

Arts Deville presents: The Honeycomb Club
New innovative and interactive music event, celebrating the best live acts, DJs and VJs in the country, with a West Midlands emphasis. The first event will also celebrate the launch of a brand new scheme showcasing and archiving regional independent music, which is the first of its kind in the UK in association with The British Library called THE PILOT MUSIC PROJECT. Acts playing are: 360, DJ Switch, Alternative Dubstep Orchestra &The Doctor and Malicious DJ.

This is set to be a night of imaginative and hypnotic femme-folk as Jane Weaver takes you on a journey in sound and Emma Tricca lures you in with her demure but seductive voice. Plus support will be provided by Birmingham’s Poppy Tibbetts. With influences as diverse yet as specific as Eastern European children’s cinema and 70’s television music Jane Weaver charts a tale of cosmic aquatic folklore.

Nu Century Arts presents: Live Box With Morley Hayden Haines
Morley Hayden Haines is a collaboration between three local artists who will provide a dynamic spoken word. They exhibit award winning poetry over a backdrop of jazz, drum and bass and funk. Jonathan Morley, an Eric Gregory winning poet provides the backarapping over Si Hayden’s double bass and Ben Haines’ drums.
