The Catapult Club presents: 21st Anniversary & Henry’s Children Album Launch
A fantastic one off show to celebrate 21 years of Catapult Club gigs in Birmingham.
The first ever Catapult Club show took place at the Hare and Hounds on Monday 25 September 1989. As a fitting celebration we mark the exact anniversary in the same venue 21 years later with the wonderful Henry’s Children launching their new album “In Your Town”.

Soul Food Sunday!! The Soul Food Boys will be in at the crack of dawn roasting potatoes in rosemary and garlic, preparing glazes and rubs for our meats and working on mean gravy’s, spicy stuffed yorkshire puddings and prepping fresh veg. We’ll be joined by local muso Andrew Dubber who’ll be manning the wheels of steel from 1pm till 4pm playing some seriously nice jazz (think everything from bluenote through to spiritual stuff, jazz funk and good old fashioned dusty soul records)
Nu Century Arts presents: The Live Box – Ciyo Brown, Robert Mitchell & Jonathan Morley
Ciyo Brown, the internationally acclaimed guitarist, comes to the Hare and Hounds to perform with his World Music Acoustic Trio, featuring Colin McNeish on double bass and Lenny Edwards on percussion. Ciyo has worked with Ronnie Davis, Jean Toussant, Suggs, Carleen Anderson, Roachford, Steel Pulse and Andy Hamilton among others. He incorporates a large range of influences into his music including jazz, reggae, soul and latin.
