The weekend starts here!

Hopefully this week you’ve managed to soak up some rays while you could, because the weekend isn’t looking so sunshiney.

Still, keeping dry is the perfect excuse to get yourself under our roof where we’ve got a line-up of events good enough to make you drool.

Friday

  • Missing Glasto? Course you are, because you know about The Beastival – a free party chock full of electro/techno/acid/rave/dubstep/Italo disco. Entry’s free so get yourself in
  • Or stick your head into Sugarfoot Stomp’s Holiday Camp Special for tunes from the 20s to 60s and old-fashioned seaside holiday fun. They’re promising a lovely legs competition and other frivolities

Saturday

  • Transglobal Underground recently capped 17 years of recording, performing and award-winning with an album of their greatest hits. Notorious party starter Marc Reck is supporting and I hear he’s been digging deep through some world music treats in preparation.

Sunday

  • Ana Garcia’s flamenco parties aren’t to be missed. It’s hard to pick out the high point – the flamenco taster class from 5-6pm? The tapas and sangria (highly recommended)? The evening of live music and dance? Or the performance of Asin by Ana herself? Word of mouth about these nights is crazy, so snag a ticket as early as possible
  • Don’t fancy getting your dancing shoes out? Then come and check out the cream of local and touring acoustic, singer-songwriter and folk/roots artists. This month we’re proud to have The Kings Of Spain, Aaron Yorke & Ben Calvert performing
