Pop Up Kitchens At The Hare & Hounds

We are delighted to be teaming up with some of Birmingham’s finest purveyors of good food for a series of pop-up kitchens in our back bar throughout January.

Thursday 15th January – Pop Up Dosa

First up on the 15th January will be Pop Up Dosa, bringing an evening of Southern Indian street food to Kings Heath. Pronounced “dhoe-sha”, a dosa is a delicious, nutritious sourdough crêpe made from fermented rice and lentil batter. Dosa dates back to the 6th century AD and is believed to have originated in Udipi, a small temple town in Karnataka, India.  Now a staple street food dish in Southern Indian states, it is known world-wide for its simple goodness.

The menu is 100% vegetarian and includes three courses for £15. More info and tickets are available HERE.

Thursday 22nd January – Savanna Grill

Savanna Grill join us for our second event on 22nd January for an evening of traditional South African food. The menu includes crocodile spring rolls, Springbok chilli dogs, bunny chow, monkey gland burgers and much more.

Tickets for the three course set menu are available for £15, and you can pick yours up HERE.

Thursday 29th January – Pietanic

Our final pop kitchen will be Pietanic, on the 29th January. Based in Birmingham’s Eastside, Pietanic will be bringing all things pie to B14. With both meat and vegetarian options available, the menu consists of three courses and tickets are again priced at £15.
