Howie Payne to Play The Hare & Hounds

Howie Payne, the driving force behind Liverpool group The Stands, is set to release his follow up to his 2009 LP ‘Bright Light Ballads’. After a whirlwind decade of near constant live performances that took him around the globe, Payne took a hiatus from touring and recording. Payne focused on songwriting, with a whole host of artists recording his work, most notably Ren Harvieu, whose critically acclaimed 2012 LP ‘Through The Night’ contains no less than five songs written by Payne.

The Winter sees Payne playing a handful of solo acoustic shows where he will be performing a selection of these new songs alongside material from both his LP’s as The Stands, and ‘Bright Light Ballads’. His next as yet untitled LP will be released in 2016.
