Circles bring DJ Fabio and MC Conrad to the H&H this Saturday 13th February.

Having been around for over 2 decades, Fabio has acquired legendary status for good reason. Starting his career as a Pirate Radio dj in the mid 80’s his style evolved with the various musical genres Dub, Rare Groove, Hip Hop, Disco to early House, Jungle and Drum and Bass. It’s a credit to him that after all these years he remains at the top of his game. On the night DJ Fabio will be taking you on a sumptuous 3 hour journey through drum and bass accompanied by MC Conrad. Check out his Fabric mix below;

This Is Tmrw bring Berlin formed five piece Ulrika Spacek to the Hare on Tuesday 9th February.

Ulrika Spacek’s soundscape has drawn assorted interpretations, a cross pollination of hypnotic fuzz, with Tom Verlaine (Television) and Stephen Malkmus (Pavement) guitar idiosyncrasies and intertwining feelings of both angst and melancholia. An amalgamation of their record collection, influences range from Krautrock to Sonic Youth and the above. The band will be touring in support of their debut LP ‘The Album Paranoia’ which is set for release on Tough Love Records in early Feb. This Is Tmrw & Killer Wave bring Mild High Club to the Hare and Hounds this coming Wednesday 10th February.

Mild High Club is the home for the musical output of LA based Alexander Brettin, who has been recording and performing with the likes of Ariel Pink and R. Stevie Moore while working on his own debut LP ‘Timeline’ for Stones Throw Records. Aside from 3 stellar tracks and a handful of videos, not much is know of the project, but we look forward to familiarising ourselves with Brettin and the rest of the club come February. In 2014 – after sixteen years and nine albums as songwriter-performer-producer with Tracey Thorn in best-selling duo Everything But The Girl, a further ten at the helm of his award-winning electronic label Buzzin’ Fly, a DJ residency on BBC 6Music, and two prize-nominated books – Ben Wattreturned to his roots as a solo singer and songwriter. Hendra, his second album – arriving thirty-one years after his indie chart No. 1 debut – met with wide acclaim at home and abroad for its eloquent lyrics and stripped-back aesthetic and pipped Anna Calvi and Blood Orange to win Best ‘Difficult’ Second Album at AIM Independent Music Awards 2014. Ben’s third solo outing, Fever Dream, is set for release on 8th April 2016.
