Dilly Dally Return to the H&H This Sunday

This Is Tmrw will be brining Dilly Dally back to the Hare & Hounds this coming Sunday 18th September

For twelve years Katie Monks and Liz Ball have been connected through music. A sister-like bond that requires no words. Having met in high school over a common love of legendary bands like The Pixies, scrawling lyrics and poetry to mimic their heroes. Both self-taught guitarists, Ball and Monks also idolized the lackadaisical sorrow of Kurt Cobain, Christopher Owens and Pete Doherty, slowly manifesting that admiration into their own band they called Dilly Dally. The band will be touring in support of their debut album ‘Sore’ a heavy and melodic offering which has nods to Sonic Youth, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, The Distillers, and even The Pogues. New show: Alex Cameron

We’re pleased to announce that This Is Tmrw will be brining Alex Cameron to the H&H on Tuesday 15th November.

Sydney’s Alex Cameron presents the third single, The Comeback, from his debut album, Jumping The Shark, out August 19th on Secretly Canadian. The Comeback follows the release of the sleaze-pop jam of Shes Mine and the undeniable Take Care of Business, or as Cameron would prefer you say, the third part in a series of four minute short stories dealing with the trappings of show business. Of all three, none deals with that topic more directly than The Comeback. Narcissism, competition, and desperation are all wrapped up and served to the listener in a pulsing and evocative statement. Recalling David Bowie and Ariel Pink under a Lynch-ian lens, Cameron weaves intelligent, poignant lyricism with primitive 80s synths and seemingly minimalist arrangements. His debut, Jumping The Shark, is a brilliantly raw and confident collection of four-minute tales written to provide you with insight into the inner workings of Cameron.
