Since emerging with their debut 10″ EP ‘The Dark Delights of The Wicked Whispers’ released on Electone Records, The Wicked Whispers earned themselves a growing following with their trademark psychedelic, folk and modern edged sound which has taken the band on both UK, European tours and festivals as well as receiving critical nods alongside national airplay on BBC Radio1, Radio 2, 6Music and beyond. This Saturday 9th August The Peaky Blinders play the H&H for what will be their last ever performance.

The Peaky Blinders are a collective of some of Birmingham’s finest and most legendary musicians who came together to celebrate the rootsy songs of ska, rocksteady and classic soul. Featuring members of UB40, Bently Rhythm Ace, Broadcast and many more, they are without doubt a celebration of Birmingham and the music that we’ve all grew up with.

The band Formed as a trio in Tampa, Florida in 2008, and has undergone ceaseless revision and reinvention. After putting out numerous records and tapes on independent punk labels and touring the underground, the band truly hit its stride with the release of their second LP Children of Desire in April 2012. Flame haired Northern Irish singer-songwriter Janet Devlin is back, stronger than ever before with her debut album ‘Running With Scissors’, which was released on 9th June 2014. This 10-track, full of folk-driven pop songs and heart touching ballads, showcases Janet’s unique and enchanting vocals, which first caught the public’s attention on Series 8 of The X factor in 2011.
