World Unlimited is a voluntary organisation that was formed in 1989 to bring the  best in International roots artists into Birmingham, from those first six events that year the organisation has grown to around eighty shows per year. The  aim is to present , via live performances , the best and most representative popular musics from cultures worldwide as well as  exploring  traditional roots and contemporary new musics developed and inspired from traditional sources, the range of styles is huge with the common link being it’s all wonderful music from quality artists.  Artists we have presented since 1989 include Angelique Kidjo, Ali Hassan Kuban, Chief Ayinde Barrister, Taj Mahal, Transglobal Undergound, Billy Bragg, Beth Nielsen Chapman, Giroldo Piloto y Klimax, June Tabor, Banco De Gaia, Ani Di Franco, Kate Rusby, Bozi Boziana & Anti-Choc, Diblo Dibala, Rizwan & Muazzam Qawwali, Camera Obscura, Asian Dub Foundation, Aly Bain, Sharon Shannon, Cowboy Junkies, The Wailers, Seasick steve, Bellowhead, Gil Scott Heron, Jimmy McGriff, Olodum, Ananda Shankar Experience & State of Bengal  and many many more
