Starless & Bible Black were formed in Manchester in 2005 and since the band have played a series of highly-charged live shows with the likes of Vetiver, The Earlies, Espers, Herman Dune and Alisdair Roberts. Festival appearances have included the Fence Records Homegame, Moseley Folk and Green Man.
2009 saw the release of their second long-player “Shape Of The Shape” – an album which brings together the sounds of Topanga Canyon country rock, Manchester guitar jangle and outer-space psychedelic drones. This is coupled with the pure and husky voice of their chanteuse, Helene Gautier.
