As a DJ, I play across the board, including Soul, Funk, Hip Hop, Jazz, Reggae, Latin, African, Ska, Disco, House, Funk, Breaks, Soundtracks & loads more. As a producer I make music that draws on these influences, with a large dose of cheek & good humour’

Mr Scruff has decided to return to the Hare & Hounds after he played a phenomenal (6 HOUR) DJ set with sold out Leftfoot 10^th Anniversary show! We expect tickets to sell out just as fast as last time, if not quicker! So make sure you book yours quickly to avoid disappointment…

Tues 5th – HEDUCATION & FREESTYLE PRESENT: AKIL THE MC (JURASSIC 5) & LOUIS LOGIC – Akil is best known as one of the MCs from the legendary hip-hop group, Jurassic 5, known for their funky, old skool flavours and uplifting lyrical content. Having featured on all 4 Jurassic 5 LPs, Akil has gone on to work with a host of talented producers. Akil is also a producer, song writer, photographer, break dancer, and entrepreneur, and is credited with much of Jurassic 5′s success. His eagerly awaited debut LP, ‘Soundcheck 101′ is due for release later this year – get an exclusive preview of his new tracks live!

Last time we hosted Akil in Birmingham, we sold 400 tickets… if you were there, you won’t need much persuasion to return! There are only 250 tickets for this gig, so please be sure to buy in advance, to avoid disappointment.
