New Show: Freak & King Nun at the H&H

We’re thrilled to announce that Sonic Gun Concerts will be bringing Freak & King Nun to the H&H on Thursday 28th September.

FREAK from Chelmsford is the alter-ego of 18-year-old Connar Ridd, who’s been described by the Guardian as a ‘one-man Nirvana’. He put the ‘What Happened EP’ online back in February 2016, and it’s easy to see why it picked up ears. The title track, with its bedroom bleeps, lackadaisical vocal deliver and ‘View From The Afternoon’ riff is pure UK indie punk. Check out his latest track ‘No Money’ below:

King Nun stepped into the spotlight with their ferocious debut single ‘Tulip’; a raucous statement of intent offering an insight into the world of King Nun and what we can expect from this undeniably exciting band in the future. Their latest single ‘Sponge’ eases up on the pace ever so slightly and showcases the group’s growing knack for a killer melody – so much so that within a minute or so of the track being aired at their Live At Leeds back in April the crowd acted like they’d known it for years.
