Music Room with Dan Whitehouse, Joanne Louise Parker and Men In General

Dan has been described as having the sort of voice that could pop the cork of a champagne bottle, brutally honest lyrics that run sinuously close to the bone and melodies that ‘plant themselves under your skin like jumping beans in the sun’. The Fly “really, really gorgeous songs” Janice Long BBC “magnificent…absolutely brilliant”  Kerrang www.myspace.com/mrdanwhitehouse

Joanne Louise Parker’s was brought up against the harsh, yet beautiful landscape of the Cambridgeshire Fenland, her musical apprenticeship has been rich and varied from classical, through folk and jazz. Joanne’s folk roots blues style observes the spiritual and emotional landscape. Her live EP was recorded after an impromptu visit to a Lestat’s coffee house in San Diego.

Men In General is a 4 piece a cappella band comprising 4 bewildered but affable blokes telling it like it might be. Tim Cranmore joins Jim Howden, Adrian Mealing & Will Tooby of The Singing Sous’Chefs’. ‘musicality and life enriching’ Rod Clements, Lindisfarne
