Bath’s Kill It Kid hold many aces up their sleave: immediately striking perhaps, there’s frontman Chris Turpin’s achingly sad roar of a singing voice, which is offset admirably by keyboardest Stephanie Ward’s dulcet tones. A propensity towards delta-blues influenced, rootsy songcraft is also evident, and steered far from waters contrived through its unbridled quality.
Recently signed to One Little Indian Records and boast one of the most devisive sounds around. Following in the likes of Anthony Hegarty and Wild Beats KIK main man Chris has a deep and rich voice that will entice and enthrall as well as create confusion aplenty.
