- Capsule presents: The Ex & Brass Unbound + Zun Zun Egui – The Ex don’t compromise and so it’s no surprise that they have put together one of the most powerful horn sections imaginable for this highly anticipated bespoke UK tour! Described as ‘experimental trance-dance avant-afro-punk improv music’ – and no one knows what descriptions this musical metamorphosis will conjure up.

- 8bit: A great selection of classic consoles, multiplayer action and gaming fun.

- Mistra Know-it-all presents: The World’s Greatest Pub Quiz – Testing your useless knowledge for prizes. A mixture of pop culture, high culture and maybe even some Smiley Culture. Prizes this week include gig tickets, beer tokens and £50 cash for the winners.

- The Blind Tiger Club presents: Deluka / We Are Animal, 10 Guitars / Tie Dye Terrorism – Currently smashing it on both sides of the Atlantic, Birmingham’s finest electro hounds are playing their only hometown gig before they leave us again for New York. Their danceable, hook-packed, attitude-laden sound impacts like a sharp slap in the face.

- World Unlimited presents: Peter Von Poehl / The Misers – For a traveller without a homeland or a fixed identity, music can be a sweet consolation, the chance to adopt a country based not in geography but a self-created world of the imagination. The Swedish musician conjures up the vague sense of discomfort that can accompany a nomadic life spent floating between different landscapes, languages and cultures.

- The Lunar Society presents: Dan Walsh / James Summerfield / Abie Budgen – outed as the finest banjo player in the UK, Newcastle’s Dan Walsh is an eclectic and exciting musician with a unique style which incorporates folk, funk, bluegrass, jazz, rock and even Arabic. Also a singer and guitarist, he has performed throughout the UK at festivals, theatres and folk clubs.
