Freestyle Presents DJ Woody

Next Saturday 27th Feb Freestyle return to the H&H for their first show of 2016 with legendary turntablist DJ Woody.

DJ Woody is one of Britain’s most respected hip hop DJs and arguably one of the most innovative and musical turntablists of his generation. Responsible for the invention of a host of groundbreaking scratches and turntablist techniques including his famous signature ‘Woodpecker” scratch, not many DJs can lay claim to having had US legend DJ Qbert on the telephone asking for tips. In 1999 Woody entered his first DJ competition and had by 2001 become the world’s most successful scratch DJ, gaining more major championship titles than any of his contemporaries.
