Elffyn
Bohemian Jukebox presents Elffyn, The Uncomfortables, Mrs (Marianne) & Ian Morris
Ellfyn
Elfynn play a lively, colourful mix of traditional Celtic tunes on fiddle and accordion, blended with a high-octane accompaniment of rock, reggae and dance riffs played on electric guitar, mandolin, bass and drums. Add to that mix some melodic songs and Elfynn presents you with the perfect festival dance act to dance to until your feet fall off!
The Uncomfortables
Recently appearing damn fine on MTV2, The Uncomfortables are battered guitars and songs about love and Hell, the things that matter. Elements of Pixies, Tom Waits, Film Noir and Surf Rock come clattering together in an electrifying mixture.
The Uncomfortables have played with Jamie T, We Are Scientists, the Brute Chorus, Dartz, Aidan Smith and the Departure as well as festivals such as Kendal Calling and One Big Weekend. They also undertook a tour of Australia in 2008 with Pistol Records who released the single ‘Vodka Stomach’.
“Soulful bluesy indie that creates a creepy, sexy atmosphere of the Nick Cave ilk, but with a bit more bite and a bit less bark. Really nice.” – (Subba-cultcha)
Mrs. (Marianne)
Personal songs revolving around frustrations, loves, hates and general hopes in life.
Ian Morris
60’s and 90’s Brit-Pop influenced songs.
