BBC Music: Live at the Hare & Hounds

Tom Robinson, Jo Whiley, Annie Mac, Charlie Sloth and more will run a festival of free live gigs and music workshops in Birmingham ahead of the BBC Music Awards on Thursday 10th December

Each evening in the run up to the main event there will be a BBC Music Introducing Showcase featuring up-and-coming bands, acts and performers from across Birmingham and beyond and we’re delighted to be hosting two of these right here at the Hare & Hounds.
First up on Monday 7th December we’ll be welcoming BBC 6 Music’s Tom Robinson with live music coming from rapper Lady Sanity, folk outfit Boat to Row and five piece Hoopla Blue.
Then on Wednesday 9th Radio 2’s Joe Whiley  hosts a new music showcase with acts that she has specially selected for the occasion. Performing will be local singer/songwriters Lawrence Taylor, Hannah Brown and Tom Aspaul.
Both events kick off at 7pm with 63 pairs of tickets to give away for each show. To be in for a chance of getting your hands on a pair you’ll need to register on the links below before Thursday 3 December at 12 noon.

Applicants must be 16 or over. Anyone attending this show under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult 18 years or older.

Successful applicants will be selected at random once the registration period has closed with 80% of tickets going to Birmingham (B) postcodes and 20% to the rest of the UK.
