Afrobeat percussion, nu disco in the vein of their contemporaries Prins Thomas and Todd Terje, twee pop a la Bell and Sebastian and even some of the low end frequencies of dubstep, Casio Kids are hands down one of the best live bands we’ve ever hosted.
The newest record (released Jan 2012) takes influence from ‘Vogue’ era Madonna, cosmic disco and the electro funk of earlier tunes ‘Fot I Hose’.
We’ll be putting the band on the big main room stage with one of (if not the) best P.As in the city, so expect it to sound absolutely massive!!

Blissed out summer vibes from one of Brums hottest bands at the moment. With love from NME and along with Brummie Cohorts Troumaca and Peace, Swim Deep are part of a blossoming local and (fingers crossed) soon to be national scene.

Originally from Bristol and currently based in Birmingham, New Carnival play their debut This is Tmrw show with a set taking in the playful pop sensibilities of ‘Wall Of Arms’ Maccabees and Bombay Bicycle Club.
