Brum Notes Magazine presents: Fresh Talent – Birmingham’s finest new music Magazine will be launching its very own open mic and acoustic night in the shape of Fresh Talent. The free entry event takes place every Tuesday giving local performers the chance to showcase their talent in a relaxed environment, as well as giving you the chance to see the finest emerging artists performing unique acoustic stripped-down sets.

Posh One presents: Happy cycling//Archmix DJs – This week two fellow fans of the lounge music genre are joining Posh One. Big Rich and Eddie Archmix are downtempo chill out DJs from Birmingham will take you on a journey encompassing Balearic space disco sounds through to eccentric dubstep rhythms whilst negotiating a whole bunch of other avenues of ambient and downtempo music along the way.

Freestyle & Birmingham Promoters presents: Jake Bullit / Andre Aristotle / Obscure Pleasures / Stevie Wilderbeast / Pascal Wray – indie pop four-piece with an infatuation with the glamour of the dancefloor, to the Bull’s Head stage. With remixes for the likes of MSTRKRFT, Sebastien Tellier and Darwin Deez under their belt, expect beats to move to and stories of joy and desire to touch you in special places. Support comes from Andre Aristotle, whose beat-heavy, synth-orientated sound mixes with powerful, melodic vocals to make for a dark, vibrant and ethereal combination, and Obscure Pleasures whose passion for all things dark sees them take in. The line-up is completed by Freestyle favourite Stevie Wilderbeast, rising star Pascal Wray and Hot Wax, making their debut in the downstairs bar, spinning an electrifyingly eclectic mix right through until 2am.

Reverb presents: Free Summer Party – a free party to thank everybody for their support over the 3 years that we have been running, we appreciate that with the holiday season in full swing, a free party is the right move Guest dj’s on the night are frankie dred and groupa deja. Frankie Dred is a reverb regular and has played in various venues in birmingham, expect some quality house/techno from the chap. no introduction needed for groupa, a resident at back once again/fuss, he has an great selection of new/old house with the odd disco classic thrown in for good measure…
