Archie Bronson Outfit / The Victorian English Gentlemen’s Club
Archie Bronson Outfit return with their much anticipated new album, Coconut, on March 1st 2010. Coconut is the London based three-piece’s first LP in almost four years and their third album for Domino.
Switching between full on deep-end rock and more reflective, beat-driven numbers, Coconut is a modern psychedelic testament delivering a visceral shot of pleasure. With recording sessions in London and Benton Harbour, Michigan, with production from DFA’s Tim Goldsworthy (LCD Soundsystem, The Rapture, Hercules & Love Affair) – Coconut is an album bursting with warped inventiveness and sonic intent.
Initial copies of Coconut will feature an accompanying DVD of videos for the entire album – most of them made by the band, some by artist friends and collaborators – all showcasing Archie Bronson Outfit’s own unique vision. Click here for a sneak preview: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UtaBCmMuVo0

The Victorian English Gentlemens Club make pop music in the Cardiff underground.
To date TVEGC have released two albums: The self titled debut ‘The Victorian English Gentlemens Club’ in 2006 (Fantastic Plastic Records), and Love On An Oil Rig 2009 (This is Fake DIY / Flower Shop). Many miles have been toured and shows have been played across UK, Europe and USA, breaking hearts, drum sticks and many essential engine parts along the way.
In 09 they launched the album in a Norwegian sailors church, performed in an exhibition in the National Museum of Wales and played in a kitchen, a theatre and on a Welsh mountain. The last single from Love on Oil Rig came out in Feb 2010. They’re currently working hard recroding and writing a new album, which will be in your sticky fingers as soon as it leaves our sticky minds.
The Victorian English Gentlemens Club have just released their magnificent second album on CD and Heavy 12″ vinyl, out on This Is Fake DIY Records in the UK, and The Flower Shop Recordings in Europe
