A lot of people have been asking when will we be starting Sunday Roasts at the Hare and Hounds….Well the time is now upon us…

To coincide with America’s Independence Day celebrations we will be launching our roasts on Sunday July 4th!! And then every Sunday there after…

In true SFP fashion our chef Mr Finn will be mixing it up and providing a very cajun twist to the Roasts so expect the unexpected…

A few examples of what you might see on the menu…

BBQ BEEF
POTROASTED CHICKEN
HONEY GLAZED HAM
HUMBLE APPLE PIE

NOTE *** THERE WILL BE A VEGGIE OPTION (IT WON’T BE A NUTROAST!

Whatever the menu be, we’ll be offering 1 Course for £8 or 2 Courses for a tenner.

We’ll be serving roasts from 2pm through to 5pm but if you want to eat before 2pm we’ll have Sunday Brunch available from midday.

On top of this, we will be supplying our very own Soul Food Soundsystem so come and chill to some laid back jazz, soul, funk and ska to make this the perfect Sunday wind-down…

Because demand has been high and to give us an idea on numbers, we’re recommending people reserve their tables. The benefit of doing this is not only will you have a guaranteed place for yer bums, but we’ll also supply a weekend paper of your choice and a copy of our first mix cd to the table all for gratis!

To reserve a table, just message any of us here on facebook or message matthew_beck@hotmail.co.uk stating what paper you’d like on your table.
The first four dates we’re taking bookings for are as follows…

Sunday July 4th
Sunday July 11th
Sunday July 17th
Sunday July 24th

Phosphorescent 5 star live review, and at Hare & Hounds tomorrow!

June 4th, 2010  |  Published in News by Robbie

Phosphorescent live at ICA, London

(Rated 5/ 5 )

By Ben Walsh

Houck and his hairy cohorts appear ready for it – ready for all of it – playing this intimate venue like it’s the Albert Hall; with bravado and precociousness. Swirling, cinematic and plaintive folk-rock, blessed with Houck’s pained, gorgeously cracked vocals, which are tailor-made for country-and-western laments.
