It’s a good week for live music @ Hare & Hounds people…. and an even better week for people who subscribe to our mailing list!

Each month we will be giving away golden tickets to any new subscribers and previous subscribers to the Hare & Hounds Mailing list. - 8Bit Lounge: Another month of 8Bit Lounging. We’re trying for a few more consoles this time. But expect the usual ones to be there. Music as ever from the guys, ranging from pure electro, to 8bit stylings of a variety of cover versions. Leons final fantasy medley seemed to go down very well last time. All is free, so come down and spend a relaxing tuesday eve gaming away :)

Wednesday
- Birmingham Promoters & Live Nation presents: Girls / Spectrals / Circus Town + This Is Tomorrow Dj’s – Girls is a band from San Francisco. The band’s lead singer, Christopher Owens, is a former member of the Children of God cult. Named “the year’s best new artist” 2009 Spin Magazine + The New York Times compared the band’s sound to Elvis Costello, Buddy Holly, and the Beach Boys.

- We Love Brum The Other Woman’s Club presents: Blind Tiger Club: Barry’s Attic / Black Apples / Is I Cinema / Neil Ward – The Other Woman’s Club teams up with We Love Brum for the second installment of Kings Heath’s sexiest new live music night THE BLIND TIGER CLUB. - Moseley Folk Festival’s Lunar Society presents: Starless And Bible Black / The Gardenelles / Beneath the Oak – Starless & Bible Black formed Manchester 2005, brings together the sounds of Topanga Canyon country rock, Manchester guitar jangle and outer-space psychedelic drones. This is coupled with the pure and husky voice of their chanteuse, Helene Gautier…

- The Source presents: The Source presents DJ Sy – an exclusive 90-minute acid house/old skool set by the original scratch-master, DJ Sy… started 1989, blending hip-hop and acid house and soon earned residencies at the legendary Venus Club & Rave FM (Nottingham). He then went on to headline at all the major raves around the UK.. including Fantazia, Venus, Amnesia and many more….
