Miss Perry Presents…King Charles, Malpas and Tom Peel

a3 kcMiss Perry is SO proud to be bringing King Charles to Birmingham to play the beloved Hare and Hounds. She first saw King Charles play the much coveted Communion night at Notting Hill Arts Centre which is run by Ben Lovett from Mumford and Sons. King Charles has toured with the aformentioned band and is building a huge loyal and very excited fan base everytime he plays. Having appeared at Glastonbury festival last year, King Charles and his merry band of men and women travel to Kings Heath to truly show you what a great live music experience should feel like.

In support are Malpas, the new collective from Kings Heath who have previously played with Mr Hudson, OK GO, Jeremy Warmsley and Hot Chip. 2010 looks a very exciting year for the good ship Malpas, free Christmas download on myspace shortly.. www.myspace.com/malpasmusic Gigs are booking up rapidly for Malpas, including Academy dates and even a slot at Isle of Wight Festival 2010 in the offering.

Miss Perry saw local to the H&H, Tom Peel, play recently with a mock cassette deck and a massive gay abandon take to the stage and completely win the audience over. Clever lyrics and incredible hooks might mean Tom Peel could catapalt into people consciousness at any moment. Here’s what others say..:

“Louis Theroux-meets-Moldy Peaches. His melodic wholesomeness and cute humour in songs such as ‘Sometimes I Want Bad Things to Happen,’ with its fragile ukulele tinkerings are greeted with swoons and giggles from a captivated yet relaxed crowd.”
