Friendly Fire Sessions: Winston Sugarcane Fergus
FRIENDLY FIRE SESSIONS
Exceptionally on a Saturday, Friendly Fire Sessions run every third Friday of the month presenting the best in established and up and coming reggae artists from around the UK.
This Month:
WINSTON “SUGARCANE” FERGUS
Winston Fergus is a veteran roots singer, with hits like Long Time on the Lightning label in 1977, up to his latest collaboration with Handworth’s Ghetto Warrior: King Earthquake meets Winston “Sugarcane” Fergus at King Earthquake studio. Often compared to Horace Andy or Gregory Isaacs, Sugarcane will be performing an exclusive set backed by the Friendly Fire Band.

PABLO RIDER
Pablo Rider has been performing for years, and since joining the Friendly Fire troops, he has quickly become the most in demand MC in Brum, with his super-sharp tongue and a world of conscious lyrics.
LIONART
Lionart is a vocalist and musician, and produces his own music as well as riding with the Friendly Fire Crew. Lively and militant, Lionart comes with more than entertainment – a message to deliver.
Backed by the FRIENDLY FIRE BAND
